About Amaltas (Golden Shower)
Long hanging chains of bright yellow flowers in late spring. Flowering trees bring seasonal colour at canopy height, turning driveways, boundaries and lawns into a show every year. Our Amaltas (Golden Shower) trees are grown to 12–18 ft so you get a finished look on planting day, without waiting years for a sapling to mature.
Planting a mature Amaltas (Golden Shower)
Dig a pit twice as wide as the root ball. Set the tree with the top of the root ball level with the ground, backfill with soil and well-rotted manure, then stake against wind.
Care after planting
Water twice a week for the first three months. Apply a balanced NPK and organic manure before the monsoon. Prune lightly after flowering to shape the canopy.
